I made this fudge this morning, my husband really likes it. This is a stove-top method. It’s very simple. Five ingredients (six if you add nuts). All you need is a good pot and a good sturdy whisk and a timer. No candy thermometer. Not so much fuss. About 15-20 minutes of your time. Because I have to work quickly with boiling fudge once it gets going, I pre-measure my ingredients, and I prepare (grease well with butter or margarine) my pan that I pour the hot fudge into, ahead of time. This time I took a few photos of the process to share with you. Just be sure to boil and whisk your sugar, milk, and cocoa for five minutes. Then remove it from heat, and whisk in your peanut butter and vanilla until the fudge is nice, smooth, and shiny. If I do add nuts, I usually wait until I get the fudge smooth and shiny, then whisk them in well. This particular batch this morning had no nuts. Honestly, I forget to buy nuts most of the time and seldom have them on hand. This fudge sets fairly quickly at room temperature too. Stores very well in the pan or in a container.
